1. Learning - being a learner and open to new ideas new ways of doing this will set you free from the train tracks of always thinking in the same way.

2. Personal Development - make a commitment to putting yourself into positions where your mind, body and spirit all develop. Put yourself deliberately in uncomfortable situations. Attend events where you are intellectually and emotionally challenged

3. Improve interpersonal skills - developing your interpersonal skills will reap rewards you won't even be able to think of right now! Learn to articulate your points well and concisely and in layman's terms. Learn to speak in public. Most importantly learn to speak in public.

4. Establish your professionalism - treat you clients with respect, don't short change, give them good value for money, don't patronize them, get the job done and keep in touch with them after they buy.

5. Commitment - drive and enthusiasm are key ingredients and are attractive to clients and employers

6. Get a mentor - have someone around who can guide you and advise you. But don't be afraid to challenge them too.

7. Believe in yourself - Sell yourself and your knowledge. Develop confidence in your abilities and skills and what you can do for your clients and consultants

8. Network - get in with the groups , online and offline. Network with those who do similar work to you and with those who could potentially buy from you.

9. Take risks - don't go crazy but don't be afraid to live dangerously sometimes

10. Remember these things:

- there is no failure only feedback from you market

- if someone has achieved then so can you

- you won't be given a dream without the ability to realize it - but you may have to work for it

- if you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got.
